NYC (Not really bass related)

Hey man. I figured you're the guru when it comes to live music in NYC so I thought I'd ask here.

I'm going to be up there mid next week for vacation. I've never been to NYC and wouldn't mind hearing some good music (preferably jazz). What places should I hit up? I see Jon Faddis will be at the Blue Note so I'll probably check it out.

Any other places I should go and check out??

I would definitely recommend heading to 55bar whenever you can. Great music every night, two bands, generally awesome.

I'm playing there with my band for my bachelor night party on the 30th of Aug if you're around.
