Hello all,

I am thirteen years old kinda broke but have a few hundred dollars (after my ampeg purchase) and I have a fender jazz fretless and a cort g series with active pickups. i love the sound of the active pickups but my jazz doesn't have any punch or comparison to the cort is there anything i can do to match that tone? ps i use medium flats

sounds confusing

fretless jazz- passive pickups flat dull sound

cort fretted- active pickups punchy punk sound

i want my jazz to sound that way

I would suggest asking this question in the gear section of the talkbass forum as I really know very little about gear. There will be so many people who can help you much more than I can.

Easy,

Janek

Why not get a prewired control plate from audere (simple mod), slap it in the Jazz and I bet it would kick your Cort in the nads.

Perhaps a pup upgrade too.
