Practising intervals

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey, Janek,

Hope, you're doing good..

A quickie here..

What do you think about practising plain intervals?
I mean, let's say, practising a scale in thirds, fourths, fifths and such..

I'm just not sure, if practising this would make difference in my improvising..

Cheers,
Faith

working with your instrument on anything musical is going to help your playing in some way shape or form.

There are basic mechanics to the instrument and the music which involve things like intervals, tempo, time, sound, scales, chords, arpeggios... etc etc...

but at the end of the day, it's what makes you happy musically that you should be working on.

Easy,

Janek
