Anyways...I use a Boss DD-20 Giga Delay. It has about 20-something seconds of loop memory and a bunch of other effects that are...less useful. The loop function is actually a great tool to 'concentrate on your playing'.

I know, I'm cheap.
I use an Akai Headrush e2 that will loop up to 12 bars just fine.

The Boss RC range are pretty good. I use an RC20 and have just got an RC20XL. The Digitech Jamman is also meant to be pretty good.
