Gday Janek,
Just wondering if you've ever experienced any trouble with your wrists of elbows before?

Latley i've been practicing/gigging pretty heavily, and every now and then i wake up with sore wrists.

Cheers
Tom

I have only had one injury that stopped me playing once a couple of years ago right before a tour to south america with my own band. It was possibly the worst time that it would ever have happened, and there seemed to be no reason for it at all. I rested it as much as I possibly could, and then iced the wrist before each gig with a wrist brace/wrap.

I have always warmed up before I've practiced and played throughout my life, and that's really all I can say for anyone else experiencing problems with pain. I would say to be conscious of the angle of your right wrist and make sure it's not too bent, the straighter the better. And also don't have the head stock end of your bass hanging round your knees while you're practicing so the left wrist has less pressure on it too.

Easy,

Janek
