Hey whats up, thanks for all the influence you've given me
your a true innovator!

anyway,
do you have any tips on transcribing, maybe some pieces to get started with or players, tips on catching phrases, rythyms, etc

Easy to transcribe solos


where I mentioned some fairly easy miles davis solos to get started with transcribing. I used to trascribe a lot of these in the beginning, and it was really useful to get my listening chops together with these simple phrases and lines that Miles is playing.
