I was wondering how to get hold of your transcriptions. I see people talking about them, and I noticed that you talk about them on the podcast so I'm just curious.

I think I can speak for Janek on this one. My understanding is that he encourages transcribing as a means to becoming a better improviser, not specifying what to transcribe and nor doing it for you...

He does encourage that. More relevantly, Janek also talks about posting jpeg's of specific transcriptions mentioned in his podcasts.
Here's the link for the pre-scanner transcriptions:http://gwizmon.podbean.com/
I don't know there are other ones.

I'm not really into posting the transcriptions so much... They're my own personal work that I sometimes share with fellow musicians when we get together and hang. the online thing with posting them didn't really work out, and it's better than way anyway. The more you can do the transcriptions yourself the better. You'll retain for more of the language that way.

And the transcriptions I've done, of which there are 100's, are personal to what inspired me to want to learn. I encourage everyone to listen to aas much music as possible, and then transcribe those things that inspire you.

Easy,

Janek
