All these perfectly good usernames go to waste with these one-post profiles. Is it possible for someone to check the IP for all the fake profiles starting these threads?

not sure I understand the question.... when I write I normally come from a melodic standpoint and base the composition around the melody. So if I don't have a "riff" as you put it, I probably don't have a composition at all.

I would say that the more you listen to music and spend time making music around other good musicians, the more ideas will come to you naturally. I think it's really important not to force an idea just for the sake of writing something. You will find your music is much more honest when you let things come to you, instead of forcing yourself to go to them.

Easy,

Janek
