what am i missing

i have 3 basses an swr 2 x10/15 boss me20 furman conditioner and i feel as though i am missing spmething please help im going mad

do you mean you're unable to get a sound from the equipment you've mentioned so far? the main thing that's missing from that list for me is in any sort of amp...

no not a teacber i habe an amp its an swr4004 and its 2 10's and a 15" but all im i just feel my rig is missing something is all

what exactly do you mean? maybe try 2. 2x10 cabs or 2 1x15 cabs they usualy will sound better paired with the same type of cab.

play more basses and amp configurations...you will never know what you are missing until you figure out what you want from your rig...I personally don't like to pigeon hole myself into one sound, and therefore have a few different options. My go to rig is a jazz bass through an AG head and DB cab, so i know if I am going to a first rehearsal with a group i would bring that first and foremost...then determine based on what the group is looking to accomplish musically if i have a bass or amp configuration that works better for the music. Get what you want first, and then start collecting if you can.

Go pickup a patch cable. Plug one end into your bass, the other into the amp. That should do it!
