Your flatwound gauge

Hi Janek,

I just watched your recent video "Knowing your gear" on your website and I was just wondering: what gauge are you using on your D'addario Chromes that are on your p-bass?

Cheers and great job with the website, keep it up!

Darren,

I use several different gauges of the Flat wounds and tapes wounds on the P-bass. It all depends on the music I have to play, and what kind of sound I might be going for. Sometimes the G String will be as heavy as a .055, and sometimes down to a .045. There's no magic number for me, it just all depends on the music.

Janek
