Anybody see this Kubicki Ex Factor on CL?
Good price but the guy needs to write a better ad & title.

I think $1800 might be pushing it, too. Polish that thing before taking pictures! It pays back. Very cool bass, though.

That seems like a fair price for a fretted one, on the low side even but I'm not sure a frettless. I surfed past it a few times. I had to laugh though because the ad is the type you see for a $150 no name bass.

I did a search of FS ads for them on here and $1800 shipped was the lowest I found. I have seen nice ones go for around 2K. I have heard a lot of good things about them and would love to play one. If it was fretted I would have to go & check it out.

I've got an old tube combo practice amp. It's a Traynor Bassmate in case anyone's curious. The amp section is great. Two EL-84's, 15 - 20 watts of power.

The cab section is a 15" speaker in way too small a cab. It's a boomy yucky mess. The baffle can be screwed off, so I'm planning on making a new baffle for a (front) ported 10". I've got a pair of Eminence S2010's, one which would work great, but they're overkill for this project and too valuable to waste.

I'm looking for a used 10" with a "conventional" magnet and known T/S parameters. Fairly full range up to 4KHz or so. Basically, a used non-neo S2010. New would be considered, in fact I should look at what Parts Express has for Dayton 10's.

Suggestions or offers would be appreciated.

I've got four Jensen (50 watt) Mod 10's that I'm planning on pulling from a sealed Fender BXR 410 cab and putting original electronics back in. I suppose I could use one of those, but again, I think I'd have better luck selling the Jensens as a set rather than one at a time. Both the Fender cab and the Jensens are available, BTW. IM if interested. They wouldn't be that expensive - good for leaving at a rehearsal space.

OK, now I'm rambling...

KO

Added: Looks like an Eminence Alpha 10A would do a really good job for ~$50. http://www.eminence.com/pdf/Alpha_10A_cab.pdf http://usspeaker.com/ALPHA10-1.htm

Added later - Well, not that good, OK though. I need to hit the Music Go Rounds and look for an unloved cab to scavenge, I think.

Did you get that from the Crystal pawn shop? I saw one of them there a few months ago. Were they like the Fender bassmans? Sold as a guitar/bass amp. Have you tried the head with a good bass cab?

GTG - yes, please! The last one was VERY enjoyable.

Is anyone else playing in the uptown Famous Dave's blues band competition? My band - The Mark Cameron Band - will be playing there on Sunday, Feb. 12th (the week after Superbowl) sometime between 4:30 and 7:30.

I'll be playing in the Moses Oakland Quartet, the hosts of the blues jam that evening, starting at 8. I'll see you there!

Does anyone know who is selling the Ritter Roya 0510 on CL?

Very good price for a Roya.

Ritter Bass for sale

Ritter Bass for sale - $5200 (savage/prior lake)

This is the high end 5 string bass you've heard about. I have to thin down my stuff!

It retailed for about $9800 in 2005. The case is a genuine ritter case too.

Unused condition. Its perfect.

Here is the official web info listing on this exact bass from Jens Ritter:

Ritter Roya Nr. 0510

Ask questions or shoot an offer. Cash only, and meet at a bank or store for safety if you want.

Thanks!

Tom

Yeah, I would have to sell a bike to get that.
It just seems odd to see it on CL for that price.
Heck, I would think Tony at Planet Bass would give him that much for it then put it on his site for 7.
