Yeah, I've been busy. The wife and I just sold our house (closes the 31st) and bought a new one (closes the 27th--gives us 4 days to move). Plus, The Uncool has a show the 20th, so I've basically been busy prepping the house, the band, everything. Bummed I haven't seen Breathin Sand yet.

The members of The Vault are going to host an open jam soon, so you'll have to come see the "new Area 52".

TalkBass July GTG - Sunday, July 22nd from 2-5 pm at Greg's (hdracer) shop.

I will be sending out directions, and any last info Greg wants me to pass on, next week Tues or Wed (I will be traveling that week, so it will be in the evening). If the weather looks accommodating the grill may come out!

Looking like a great turnout! I may have to leave a bass or two at home for everyone to squeeze in.

If you have not already indicated you are coming or sent me a PM, please let me know via PM so we can get expected numbers.

I'm going to try to make it but I'll be out with the family earlier in the day at the Car Craft Summer Nationals showing my Pontiac Lemans. Hmm maybe it would give me a good excuse to drive it on over.

I changed jobs, so that means I'm 100% in! I used to work this 4 day on/4 day off 12 hour shift crap, and my shift was going to go right through the weekend of CarCraft and the GTG, so, thankfully everything is in the clear now! I can show up, see what real bass players look like, then drive back home, weeping, wondering how much I can sell my rig for.

I could only bring a bass or two and a practice amp in my MINI convertible

I guess I'll have to bring the gig-rig hauler.

Regarding the GTG & Directions

I have sent out directions to all those who have responded by PM, and to those who I have on the list from the last GTG. If I missed you - PLEASE PM ME!

If anyone else is interested in attending, please contact me for directions before Sunday. I will not be checking email in the hours before the GTG.

Those are the official hours, though it usually goes a bit later than that. I was one of the last to leave last time and I'm guessing it was well after 6pm when I left.
