Flowdopin, bring the acoustic and the ukulele. I played a bass uk once and it was a blast.

I'll also try to bring some free stuff.

Hey MN TBers!
I'm only now becoming involved w/GTGs for the first time and am waiting on information on this upcoming wknd. In the meantime though, I've a question or two.

I noted many are bringing gear (some for sale/free? apparently) for others to give a go. Is this something you set up in advance so you have a booth/area to set up? Or do you just bring all you want and hope for the best to have somewhere to put it?

Along these lines, I can certainly bring along my (makeshift) pedal board/rack. Among other items, it houses an [SFX] preamp anda Swell B-peg. I also have an old West Fillmore if any might be interested in giving a go. It's heavy, the front&rear grills are not yet attached, the tolex is ragged, but it's certainly playable.

Hey LongHair,
The place should have room for your gear. We just setup in an open area and go look at other gear. Pretty low key.

Thanks for that RickL289. I rcv'd address and such from ExalBass and I also spoke w/someone at Pro-Performance and he gave me a bit of a rundown too. It sound's like it'd be a blast. I hope to make it.

That would be Greg, our AWESOME HOST!

Hope you can make it!

BTW, as before, a 'tip jar' will be there for contributions to the snacks... let's be generous! This is a great location for us.

I'm afraid I won't be able to come actually, I had hoped to but family plans have me in Utah until the 5th. I'll make sure to come to the next one though.

Just for grins, we ought to get together as many of a certain cab as we can at a Summer GTG and wire up a harness to keep the Ohms in the zone and stack up a monster rig outside for playing and a photo op.

Who wouldn't like to play with 40 or more 10's behind them at least one time?

I'd find it interesting to see what kind of sound different amps would produce with such a load on them.

You may be right...

Maybe add in a drum kit and a Marshall stack or two for the photo awesomeness.

There was discussion a while back where folks were talking about small 110 cabs ... any interest in seeing/trying one (or two) of the little Yamaha BBT110's? .. if so, I can bring them along ...

I have a new toy to bring with on Sunday.

This was a CL steal. It's pretty beat up, but in an interesting kind of way. I'm loving it so far.
