It's a picture of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies, the idea being that you'd hear "one meeeellliooon dollars" in your head upon seeing it.

I did. I think I see where this is going: either you're the seller, or you bought the other bass he had for sale, or I snatched it out from under you.

Good guess! I'm the one that bought the Jazz that he had for sale. Good price on it but if yours is anything like this one I can see what mean by its beat up but in an "interesting" kind of way. I don't think his son did an ounce of maintenance on them! I've never seen so many loose screws in my life and the truss rod nut was completely stripped. It can all be fixed but wow!

Yeah, it's got plenty of scars and the neck had me worried for a bit. There was enough of a back bow that frets 1-4 all buzzed. I tried loosening the trussrod, but that didn't get me very far. The bass was strung with very light gauge strings, so I slapped some old flats on it that were much heavier and it straightened it out pretty well. We'll see where the neck settles after the flats have been on there awhile.

Jonny, I thought someone said this earlier and Timmy wants to start Rumbl's talk early so there are hints of other activities on Sunday.

I hope to see you tonight at Arizona's.

Yeah Dave and I totally spaced that there was a game that day when we set the date.

I will have the TV on so we can keep score.

If the Vikings, Packers or the Bears are not in the game game who cares anyway.....

Has a timeline of events been set up yet?

Those of us traveling would be aided in knowing what we might be missing if we arrive too late.

I'll be there early for setup too. I'd be OK with a one hour shift earlier 1-3 PM if that works better. I was not even considering the SB when we picked the date. Other opinions??? Votes?

9am? That early? Wow. I figured since we're all bass players there would be no consciousness before 11...
