3rd Annual NYC Talkbass Get-Together 9/24/06

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey there, everyone.

The 3rd annual Talkbass NYC get-together will take place Sunday, September 24th at the usual location:

The Woodhaven Athletic Club
86-08 95th Avenue
Ozone Park, NY 11416

I can switch this date to Sunday, October 15th if a majority of you prefer, but I think 9/24 will be fine.

Details to follow.

If you're in the NYC area, and don't show up - I'm releasing the dogs!

The 2nd one was better than the first; let's be able to say the same about this one!

Could a mod sticky this, please?

Mike

Who's cookin', Mike? The food was AMAZING last year ....

The 24th is a great day for me. I'm there for sure, let's see if we can do a better job of getting the Jersey guys to show up this year .......

I might have to make the drive up for this event.

Mike, you can hold a raffle for the TBer that gets to have me crash at their pad, eat all their food, drink all their booze, and scare off all the women.

It'd be great if you could make it, Jive1.

I'm glad you liked the food, Ed, but I must give credit where credit is due; aside from the Polish sausage & saurkraut, the food was compliments of John Filakovsky and his wife.

Yeah, and see if you can drag some more Jersey guys up with you.

Mike

You're in the raffle too.

You don't have a lock on your liquor cabinet do you?

I'd be happy to come as usual. I'd be driving in from PA, spending the weekend at my parents house in Jerz.

I'll bring my GK Neo's and plenty of new toys

I'm down!
I don't have a car, though. Any carpooling options? I've never had to get out to Ozone Park on the subway, let alone with any gear. I'm in Bushwick/Bed-Stuy so it's not too far away.

Jive if you're really hard up and don't mind a dorm room (it's nice, but probably gonna look like Lebanon) you're more than welcome at my place, though our liquor cabinet is probably the kitchen counter. help yourself.
