Any Bass Seminar/Camp in California for Aug-Sep'09 to make my vacation worthy?

Hi!

I'm from Barcelona, Spain.

I've never been to USA, and I'm planning to go this year. I've played bass for years and I still play in bands and study, and I'd like to make a serious journey this summer/fall.

I'm going to go myself, alone, so as a way to meet people there in US, practice english, learn music, share lives and have a great time, I think that an assistence to a seminar or a little course could be wonderful. No matter about the course level, but I think that an intermediate one could be ok.

I play and owb 4 and 6 string bass, and the styles I'd like to learn are latin jazz, jazz, funk and other colorful styles, appart from soloing...

I mustn't mention that my main fauvorite players are americant, atough I think that in EU there are great genious ones, as well. ;-)

The cities I plan to visit are LA, San Francisco, but maybe I plan to go also to NY...

And, of course, any individual meeting would be pleased!
