I'm in Pinellas Park/St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay... Recently started playing bass again after 30 years away. Amazingly, it's all coming back...

Hello there I have a childhood friend up there in St Pete.

I did not play for many years and it all came back quick once I finally started again.

Hey guys..

If you haven't heard of The Kruger Brothers, they're coming to S Florida for a weekend workshop last weekend in MArch. In Lake Worth. Two of the best guitar and banjo players in the land. They will bring Joel, their bass player, if we can get enough interest (I'm a guitar student of the guy who's coordinating the workshop-no commercial interest). I would like to see Joel attend and do a workshop. But I'm the only bass player really, in the group and they need more interest to bring him.

I attended last year and sat in on the guitar session. There was also a joint session. These guys have been working pros for decades all over the world (They're actually from Switzerland but live in the US now) and it was a great experience.

Anyone interested?

Here is what they sound like.

He has a fantastic sound and fits into their sound perfectly. Great player.

Here's the contact info if anyone would like to attend.

thanks for listening.

Hey folks I am thinking of moving to Clermont about 45 minutes north of Disney. Can any of you guys in that area give me an idea of what kind of musical work I can find down that way? What kind of music is popular. How difficult is it to get into Disney or Universal as a player. Is the bar scene vibrant? I just need a clue as to what I am going to be able to do musically down there. Any info would be helpful thanks!
