As the title says... In days gone by I had seen some posts about this maybe taken(ing) place in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area, I did not know if there was any support for any events like this. I would love to be apart of something like that and put some faces with the many peepz that I see on Talkbass. Any takers , thought I would ask... Holler back at me and maybe we can get some people together and find a place to have it at.
Peace,

Mark me as interested. I could bring my Ashdown RPM1 and my effects setup. |

Peace,

Worth area would be right? If so I am GAME! I know we have a lot of people around the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and I wasn't sure, if either you have a place we could have it at that would be awesome. And you have a DB750... ooh, I would love to play through one of those!
Peace,

Honestly, the last few Dallas GTG's were just lets go to Pete Skjold's and look at all the new stuff. Honestly, again, I don't want to see the same old stuff all the time. Thanks to Pete for hosting, but the first GTG I went to was at a resteraunt in Deep Ellum, and it was great. Lots of gear, some cheap (mine) some not. Made a few good friends, and won a gift certificate to Larry Morgan. THAT was a GTG. |

The last GTG that Pete hosted was pretty nice, it was right next to Anderson Guitars.. and it was less of Pete showing his stuff (although.. I really like to look and play Pete's basses).

I'd love for there to be another GTG in the Dallas area. And it would be awesome if we could get Brian to bring all of his "LowEnd" stuff!!

I can't think of a way to describe it, but something just doesn't seem right about it.
Too bad about Applewoods, that place rocked |

Hate we missed each other by a week H. |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Bossier City, Louisiana | | WOW... I leave for a day or so and it seems like this thread got lit up... a lot! Well when is the next "big" guitar show in Dallas area? I know there is a James Burton Guitar Show here in Shreveport at the end of March 2007. I know I def. don't have a place large enough to hold a GTG and my landlord would shoot me dead I know it! But if any interested party's would like to come down when that show happens maybe we can meet up and hang out to some extent. I am not sure who is all on the docket but I know the show as a whole was awesome. More info. can be found on this show HERE.
Keep me posted on the guitar shows in the Dallas area, I heard that some of them where good, I have never personally been to one but it sounds like a load of fun.
Peace,
