I was there last year, and the basses were thin. Don't get me wrong Warrior always has there pieces af art on display, and I think the price of admission alone is worth seeing Pete Skjold's next batch on display. I'll be there Sunday.

Pete's hosting of various GTG's. Again, I like Pete, but something just doesn't sit right with me.

It just didn't sit right with ME. For some reason, it felt more like free advertising (minus the price of hot dogs, of course ). My opinion is just that, mine. I don't expect anyone else to agree, or even get it. I was just stating my feeling on the matter.

Back on topic, so is there a GTG planned other than maybe a small one this weekend? What day is everyone going?

No good deed goes unpunished?

I guess you are entitled to your feelings. It was free advertising, and I don't think Pete would disagree with you on that. But everybody was encouraged to bring whatever gear they had and we did. Pete was also more than happy to talk about the other basses and wail on them too.

Sorry it didn't sit right for you.

Please don't be. I had a choice, and I chose not to go. IIRC, there was more than one at,or sponsored by, Pete's, and at least one time I had car trouble. After that first one, I decided not to try again.

However, I'm still curious if there are any plans for an upcoming GTG. Depending on the time/location, I may be more than willing to travel to OK or LA.

Lightbulb

If it was not so far away and if they had enough space, it would be awesome if we could have a GTG at James shop ThePerfectBass! That would be killer, awesome staff and a heck of a good selection of gear to boot! *Still Dreamen*

Peace,

I'll be at the Arlington show on Saturday. Maybe Sunday too. No booth. I'm backpacking.

We've been thinking about hosting a GTG in Houston. Don't know when though...
