I'm in.

Had some dealings with RPSands awhile back, I know he's local and we talked about a GTG and he was down. Sure he'll be along.

I'm East Valley.

I am in Tucson and would come up if it fits my schedule-probably during the week.
What kind of place would you have it at?

I'm down too. Lmk. Weekdays are probably best as I gig most Fridays and Saturday nights. I might be able to bring some Tucson bass players with me too. Peace.

bump for others

If we can get more than say 20 people, I will throw around the idea to get some hosting funds. I can not take the lead on this but if someone can moderate this thread and let me know I will help in any capacity I can. This is just a thought (do not get your hopes up) but host GTG this at FMIC HQ.

I would be down, I'm in Glendale; could definitely be a lot of fun. Having it at FMIC would be cool, also a suggestion for Sam Ash as they are a relatively large music store and do a lot of community stuff(they have a ukulele club that meets there weekly). Sub'd

Hey Hapa........still buddies with Carry Nordstrand? Maybe they'd be willing to hop over for the event too.

I can bring a hand full of my basses if anyone is interested.

We could also invite Joe of JHawkcustoms. He's the regional builder for fEarful and Greenboy cabs. I'd love to check them out too.

I'd be happy to throw in some "sponsorship" money. LMK what it will take to gitt'r done and maybe together we can make some phone calls to make this happen and possibly get some shwag from some of the companies I work with.

Anyone connected in the PHX area that can hook up a "Blues Jam" at a club on a Sunday afternoon or possibly mid week? I can get that done in Tucson, but not connected in PHX. I can see it now...... 20 bass players and one really tired guitar player and drummer......

Cheers.
