Sure, why not!
I'm in Harford County, which is also Northeast but it seems to me that the majority of stuff goes down between Baltimore and DC. Which pisses me off since gas is so expensive!

I'm in Conowingo,Cecil County. We could arrange a GTG. Not necessarily those dates above, but sometime. Do you play with any other musicians in the area? -Luke

I just played in Cecil County two nights ago, at the college.
I play in the Aberdeen Proving Ground Army Band, but I just moved to this area from Korea, so I don't have any outside stuff going on right now. I'm always up for getting together an jamming though.

Right on! Was it in the auditorium? I saw the Santa Fe Guitar Quartet there, twice. Great little stage/seating. -Luke

I just retired from the USAF Band in DC, so I have a little spare time on my hands. I can probably make either date with a few Sadowsky's and a Roscoe in tow. Just let me know where and when.

yeah neither have i. i only know a few other bassists, at all. we should meet at guitar center and take over the entire bass section. no one ever goes in there anyway. ive sat in there for an hour or so playing different basses and MAYBE 4 people walk in the whole time. the sales folk ignore you too. its actually quite nice.

yeah, for once its nice that you're ignored for being a bass player, the only time they came back was when this one kid got in there and was trying to play the same riff over and over(not very well) on one of thier ampeg stacks with it cranked.

Yup, we had our military holiday concert there and the place was actually packed. I spent 2 month workings up the multimedia that would accompany the music on the big screen, and then during the gig I had to furiously switch back and forth between upright and electric basses, changing the EQ settings and volume on the amp...
it was intense! The band really sounded huge in that auditorium.

As for the location, we could do the towson guitar center thing.
I would invite everyone to my place, but I'm pretty far north of Baltimore.

We could see how far it is for everyone to Guitar Center and to your place and see where the best spot would be. -Luke

i currently live in towson, but my lease is up on the 31st and i am in the process of figuring something out. ill be out of a practice space too, so maybe ill just rent a practice space and live there too. and wear earplugs 24/7. good plan ...

towson guitar center would be fine with me, where do you live in harford county pgroove? there are a few other guitar centers around too, if im not mistaken ...

I live in Aberdeen, so Towson is doable. If that turns out to be that spot, then we could all go right down the street and grab some Hooters afterwards.
I guess 5 people hanging out in that bass room is doable, although they may hate us after a while.

I'm in. I'm sure Quadzilla would make it, too.
Towson sounds good. I can bring my Stambaugh, Leduc UBass & a Steinberger BassCello if any one wants to try it out.

I'd probably be up for that as well, but I'll be flying in from San Antonio, TX the night before, so I may be a bit sleepy. I'll check w the Mrs to make double sure as we will have to pick up the dog from the kennel, kids from the in-laws, etc, etc.
