I find supernova (at least in montreal) has nothing to do with how good your band is. The times I've played, it's been the band that sells the most tickets who wins every time (for sure not the best band at least 2 of the 3 times).

Aks, some one else mentioned that to me also. That really sucks actually.

My Band is thinking of finding a few others and renting out the gig for the night, (only like $500) and charging the same amount as supernova for tickets.
