"We offer cocktail and dining service throughout each show and request a 1-drink minimum per customer. Yoshi's is an extremely inviting atmosphere for all ages, all the time, in a smoke-free environment."

thanks..

...now I have to pony up the cash for the evening, I should not have gone on that date last friday.

The new Yoshi's in SF has Stern, Chambers & Bona plus the saxplayer, can never remember his last name (starts with an F) for the week starting on Dec. 18. Another bassplayer friend who has seen Stern with a number of heavy weight bass players believes the best was when he saw Stern with Bona. Think I'm gonna have to check that one out.

I got my ticket for Saturday to see Chick, Wooten, and Weckl. Its going to be great!

Also, I saw Richard Bona at Yoshi's the last time that he came (with his own band) and it was one of the best shows ever. His playing, sound, and singing were amazing. Definately worth seeing again.

Hoping to make the show this weekend. I saw the Elecktric Band with Patitucci many, many years ago at the Berkeley Jazz Festival.

show update

Man!

Victor Wooten was great and he found the right spot on the solo to display his techniques... It was crazy! However, Dave Weckl was the shiniest star that night (imo).

Great show..............

PS: Wooten was using the Ying Yang Fodera, Phil jones preamp to an ampeg SVT 4 pro into 410 Ampeg cab on a riser.
