Another bassplayer friend who has seen Stern with a number of heavy weight bass players believes the best was when he saw Stern with Bona. Think I'm gonna have to check that one out.

Also, I saw Richard Bona at Yoshi's the last time that he came (with his own band) and it was one of the best shows ever. His playing, sound, and singing were amazing. Definately worth seeing again. |

Victor Wooten was great and he found the right spot on the solo to display his techniques... It was crazy! However, Dave Weckl was the shiniest star that night (imo).
Great show..............
PS: Wooten was using the Ying Yang Fodera, Phil jones preamp to an ampeg SVT 4 pro into 410 Ampeg cab on a riser. |
