Hi guys,
So I'm putting together a bit of a GTG at the store that I work at out in Langley. It's Act 1 Music and I've got SUNDAY NOV. 19th booked from 1-5pm for the first annual Valley Bass Quake.
my hopes are that it'll be an event to get all of us Vancouver/Fraser Valley bassists together for a few hours to talk shop, try gear and just hang out/network.
It's a pretty casual affair, Mike Kinal will be coming out to do a talk on set-up and building and I'm trying to get a few other guys out for some Q&A.
There will be some door prizes (t-shirts/strings/etc.) and basically just a fun hang to try some gear in the store AS WELL AS BRINGING YOUR basses and amps for a good ol' GTG
feel free to email me with any questions.
hope to see a bunch of you there.
best,
Pete www.peterdavyduck.com www.youtube.com/ovrdrvn
ps. IT'S FREE (ofcourse) &.... Double Bassists, feel free to come as well!!!! I'm a little rusty on my Petrachi's(sp?) but would love to have some of the Doghouse Brethren there as well |
