Re: Birmingham (& surrounding areas ...) bassists

Sup sleepy_monkey ...

I'm in Gadsden and have to reach out for variety...

What do you have in mind? With enough interest, maybe we can get something together some time...

Re: Birmingham (UK)

... 50 miles is almost questionable given the cost of vehicle fuel, but a several thousand mile travel to the UK is pretty much out of the question if the trip is paid out of my pocket!

I certainly looked twice to verify the sleepy_monkey's location contained "USA" before replying. Alabama, USA is not blessed with the masses of much ... including bass players. Alas, it is nice to see someone semi-local on the forums.

Peace!

I have been trying to get some of the local bassists that are in the southside scene as I have been for about 4 years to put together drums and strictly other basses. So maybe a drummer and 3-4 bass players.

Think Big Bottom by Spinal Tap..haha.

I prefer that noone be stuck in a man-sized carcass in Alabama's summer heat...
