The attendance at the next bass borg will probably dwarf NAMM
I still remember part one....Pat and I show up early, so Tom told the wife...."Oh yeah, I am having three or four people over"
I think the mag Tom works for ought to do a feature on Ohio's own mini-bass NAMM!

Hey Tim!!
Long time no see or talk to around.
How ya been??!!?
And when we gonna get a date for the nest GTG?!?!??!?!?
C'mon, between all of us we could chip in like $20-$30 and rent a small hall for a day.
And heck, a few pizza's from hell shouldn't be more than a $20, some cold one's another $25 or so, scotch $375.
< doing some quick math....carry the 1...plus 3.... equals...OK got it>
We need about $700 guys, how's that sound?
Tom, any VFW halls down there that need leveling?!?!

BTW, I just pray it's not on a weekend I can't make. I don't wanna' miss the next one. The more advance notice, the better!!!! |

Dude, it's not water you have to worry about!!!!
I'm all in favor for those involved to chip in a few bucks and have an off site place.
We had what like 20 guys last time (over two days though).
At $20 $30 a guy thats $400-$600. I'm pretty sure we could get someplace for an afternoon to blast in.
I'm gonna check here in the Detroit area.
If anyone is game, are we willing to maybe make it happen if $20 is the "buy in"?????
And maybe get a sponsor or two??

And maybe get a sponsor or two?? | I'll spend more than that in gas alone... just to get GAS... how ironic... so for me, no problem, but it may be an issue for others. Plus, we'll have to rent a truck for a day, which would be another $50 or so. No way should be be crankin' our backs gettin' all that stuff in and out of personal vehicles, unless a few folks have minivans that their wives don't mind getting beat up a little. |

However, if you're talking about the off-site idea, I figure that doesn't matter. As long as you're the "host" and primary coordinator (you're guaranteed to be the primary gear supplier ), it's a certified B3, baby!
...yes, that was me coining a new term... fyi... |

Hell, look into a hall or something down in your area Tom.
But I could bet they don't have as cool carpet as you!!!
I'm sure everyone has seen a Sadowsky, Accugroove, Thunderfunk before, so all I would really would have to bring would be my Groove Shoppe 5 and me.
Hell, most have seen me, so I guess I could just send the bass and save myself the trip!!
