Subscribed. I'm so making the next Big GTG, seeing as I missed the West MI GTG and Oh-Hi-Oh is close enough.

Okay so I actually have the day off today, so I'll be down at LDS later this afternoon (with my HMR) if anyone wants to stop by...

Time???

I couldn't be there until like 4:00.
I could bring the GS5 & Sadowsky.
But I would only have an hour or so.

I'll probably get there a bit after 3:00, and I'll stay until at least 5:00 so that should definitely work. I'd love to check out those 2 basses! I think there's also an MTD Z6 there that Ryan is selling that I want to check out again...

Mike's GS5 is killin! I think thats the first bass I've checked out with a dual/single coil switch where I would actually use both. The single coil mode was jazz bass all the way (similar to an F Bass) while the humbucker mode still sounded great, just cleaner. So you could easily groove in humbucker mode and just flip to singles when you wanna get nasty with it...

Excellent! So what's the wood combo in that GS5? That thing is funky and growly as all heck! Very easy to hear in the mix while blended in nicely!

Great stuff Mike, The GS sounds very cool! I played with Rob (the singer in the striped shirt) for a couple of years at Genesis. He is also an exceptional singer.
