Stanley Clarke and Lee Ritenour (with Melvin Lee Davis!!) on the same day (Fri 22nd March). I am so there!

Im actually thrilled to see that buddy guy is playing..
I saw Bo Diddley last year. 3 days later he had a stroke and almost died.

THe animals where great too. bass player is a bit of a looker, even for and older woman.
Oh and the flecktones where awesome too.

My wife used to have most of her family in Ballina, but they've all seemed to have dispersed...darn! it would have been a good excuse to go visit the rellies

Byron Bay was right where I stayed when I was there in 1982. Stayed on the beach by the park. There was a bunch of wogs from Brazil there. Had a house made out of bamboo.They all had lots of cash from living together, and all of them on the dole!! One said he flys home to see his family evey summer. Gotta love the Aussie dole!! I stayed with them a few nites, and a bloke from the states I new that had a flat in town. Had a blast. You guys are lucky. Thats going to be a great show. Wish I could be there.

Wish i could make it up there, did some gigs in Byron last year, at the Railway and Beach hotels, nice weather and good times! At least i'm seeing Maceo down here in melbourne...
