Central NJ GTG... Fall 2009

Sign in to disble this ad
As per conversations in the NJ Bassists thread is there any interest in a Central NJ GTG this Fall? We did one in Ocean County in May of 2007... I'd be willing to look for a place to host it locally again.

Sure. Fall would be best for me. The summer gets too nuts with gigs, kids, etc. Book it Dan-O!

As in the other thread, I'd love to attend, depending on times/dates/etc. Hopefully it can extend into the evening; I get off work around 3pm and would have to drive from Cape May...

Give me a shout about it. I'll be at MSU in the Fall so I'd probably have to organize a ride for myself.

Done.
I'll subscribe to this and see location, price and perhaps carpool (if gear permitting) share gas, toll expense. Someone set a date n time and I'll mark it in my calendar and lets make it happen. With a good turn out this should be really fun, inspirational and educational especially to see GOOD bass players jam out!!! Cause I suck and I'm tired of hearing myself suck!!!! lol

My gigging schedule has been extremely busy of late, so it would be hard to make a firm commitment (I had to pass on the Int'l GTG in NY this year, too). But I'll subscribe to this thread and hopefully dates and times will work out ....

I hope so too, it'd be nice to see you again since the last time we crossed paths was... Summer '05?

Yeah Tim, somewhere around that time ....

Nothing much has changed: still old, still playing basses with too many strings, but I am 50+ pounds lighter ....

I might be interested too.... date/location depending.
The Great State of NJ won't let me drive for a year (stupid tickets.. grrr) so I doubt I'd be able to bring my monster 215 Mesa cab, but if it's in the fall I could @ least bring along my Earthbound OSC Beast (provided it ships by Aug. as planned) and I should have my Warwick all put back together by then too.
