Speaking of videos...did Dan ever issue the 10th Anniversary concert on DVD? I see that Jason has Jerry's Riders on the Storm segment on his YouTube Channel (with Dude kissing Jerry's hand at the very beginning), but I'd like to have the whole thing so that I could enjoy it again. Amazing night of live music (including Dan's vocal performance on Soul Man)!

Chiming in late. Thanks to the LOG guys for putting this together? Not much to add beyond what everyone has already said. Great basses, informative webcasts, good players, and incredibly helpfull, friendly employees. This was my third lakland gtg, and I can't wait for the next one.

Nessy Does Exist.

Need soundclips, but uh I don't want to hear them. I'm not even going to look at that picture anymore.

Good times!

I truly enjoyed the GTG! I dug Jauqo's "Tri-sonic" bass. Didn't find a bass that I didn't like. Thanks to all who made it happen. I look forward to next year (hint, hint).

Here's an idea guys. What would a Chi Sonic Split P style pickup sound like? I dunno. Just saw Jauqo's Tri sonic over at the LOG site and I was wondering if you could take one of the pickups used in that one and configure it Split P? Essentially a Chi that would drop in any BG or DD bass (without mods).

Whatd'ya think?

God Bless, Ray

Glad you had a good time. Oh man, Jauqo's bass was unbelieveable!

Believe me, we will do everything in our power to have one there next year. And Dan says he'd really like to make it an annual event!

Off topic, but...

... I figure everyone subscribed is local.

Does anyone in the Chicago area have a set of nut slot files that I could use in your shop? I need to cut a new 5-string nut and I would prefer not to spend the big $$ to get a set from StewMac...

As I said, I'd be happy to come to your place and do the work there, no point letting me take them home and wonder who the heck I am for the hour or so that I would hope it would take me at your place.

Of course I would bring refreshments of your choosing...

New Lakland owners are planning something, but possibly NOT at the factory.
Watch here for details as they become available, or check out

Bummer, I thought the links would work for anyone! I'm a little pressed for time--you can also sign up to the site as a free/basic member.

There's also a TB thread.
