You might get more interest if you post what region you are trying to GTG in the thread title...

For all anyone knows this could be in Australia, Ireland, Turkey, Michigan.....

West Music in Davenport has a couple pretty darn nice Fenders...a '50s RI Precision and a Geddy. Plus, it's the only place I've ever seen an Orange AD200B.

The poll should be multiple choice: fill in all the days you can come.

I can do any of those days as of now, I'm pretty sure. I might have to get out of a Volleyball practice or something, but it's fine.

That's what I originally had in mind, but this gets the job done too. Looks like the 14th has a pretty solid grip on the lead. Maybe we sould go ahead and set the date if the 14th still has a solid lead on the 14th of this month. That way everyone will have a month of lead time.

I think you can pick more then one day right? Like pick a day, get out of the thread and come back. I emailed mark earlier today about the 14th. Ill know more when he gets back to me. Dont worry though if you miss this one. I was thinking of doing this as a seasonal thing. IE fall/winter, spring/summer. And nothing wrong with planning early. So if you have any suggestions such as venue, clinic ideas etc.. . Please let me know. I like the bass club beacuse Mark is a super cool guy, its a bass shop, and hey its free!

Way back in '99 (IIRC) Dan Lakin hosted a "The Bottom Line" get together at the Lakland factory. It was very cool.

A number of years ago, Dan and I were talking about another one...then I drifted away from TBL and Dan had his 10th Anniversary concert and master class events so I don't know if the subject ever came up again.

I'm not sure he even visits TalkBass...

Man, a GTG @ the Lakland Factory would be a dream come true. I've always wanted to visit the factory, since I play one, but I'm always in Chicago on weekends.
