OK people! Last year's GTG was a great time, let's try to do it again! Bob, if you're reading this, is the space in sharonville still available? and does anybody have any date preferences? As long as we avoid the middle of April I'm in! subscribe to this thread, and pass it along to our bass friends here in town and let's make this one even bigger then last years!

The place is unrented as far as I know. I'm not handling it anymore though. I could ask the owner if we could rent it for the day and see if he'd just say go ahead and do it. Is there anywhere else you want to do it? It's not a bad facility but if someone wants to try something else, that's cool.

I'm in too. Sometime in mid March seems to be the sweet spot.

Don't have much room in my 944 sq. ft house or I'd have it over here.

it looks like i am working every weekend in March ... ability to make it out depends on if i am working in town, or on the road. Between moving 400 people into Pictoria 1, renovating Deer Park & Mt Healthy branches, and closing / consolidating 15 other branches - my March is a bit swamped.

OK, so for those who religiously watch King of the Hill you may recognize this bastardization of a quote from the show:

"What this thread needs is some leadership" (cudos if you know the episode)

Here's what I'm thinking: we're in the final week of February, so rounding everybody up for a March GTG will be tough. My vote is for a saturday in april (just not the 16th since I have a gig in Nashville that weekend

). The 23rd or 30th give us all nearly two months to request off of work and spread the word. I think last year's was such a success because we had enough time to let the thing ferment. I'm very un-tech savvy (if it doesn't have frets I struggle) but I'll try to start a poll in this thread on a date.

@ Nysbob: if you could find out what a day rental of the space would cost that'd be great!

@ everybody else: if we could try to hunt for a back up place (i.e. a church, bar, house, etc.) that would be slick.

Ok, off I go to try to start a poll!
