RITA'S DRUMS ARE FOUND...by a Talkbass member!
Thanks to Talkbass member "Kit829", Rita is getting her drums back. Kit829 was looking for the same drumset stumbled on a set on the Music Go Round website. She knew that there are not many Genista sets around, especially in red sparkle, so she replied to Rita's CL ad and called me at the store. Thanks to Kit829, Rita's drums are coming home!
Rita's drums were found at Music Go Round in Aurora, CO. While most of the cymbals were already gone, she is getting the red sparkle drums, her snares and some other stuff back. Aurora PD and Boulder County Sherriff are on the case, so hopefully they catch the perps.
Thanks again Kit829!
Dan

Everyone can appreciate impact of the loss of one's only bass, I trust, and any help would be more than appreciated PLUS rewarded. Dan | THAT'S another reason which makes this place special! I love a (reasonably) happy ending. Good cymbals aren't cheap, but the snares and drums are the same as a bass to us low-enders. Perhaps the capture of the thief will allow for tracking down the cymbals, too. Rita's chances for a happy weekend have been enhanced greatly

It's especially sad that I was flagged 5 times all the way up to 10:30 PM. Being still very new to CO, I know it's not someone who personally knows me. But seriously though, why all the hate?

| | | | craigslist can be extremely frustrating. If it wasn't so useful 10% of the time, the other 90% of spam, false flags, and irritating human verification that clearly isn't effective wouldn't be worth it!

We had a great showing, and both Frank and Norm said it was one of the best clinics they've had. Guys like this will always put on a great show, but having an attentive and enthusiastic audience always helps. They both asked me to thank all of you who attended.

| | Registered User Owner, Premier Bass Guitars | | Join Date: May 2011 Location: Superior, Colorado | | | Rocky Mountain Bass Slam - June 9/10 Mark your calendars. Coming the weekend of June 9/10 is the Rocky Mountain Bass Slam.
This is a great weekend of bass, with Clinics at Mojo's Music Academy on Sat. June 9, and a bass fest concert on Sun. June 10 at Jammin' Joes in Arvada.
This is a fund raiser for a worthy cause (the Blue Star connection: www.BlueStarConnection.org).
Premier Bass Guitars is a co-sponser, and we will be providing the backline amps for the Sunday concert, plus an MTD Saratoga bass for the raffle. We'll have amp rigs from Genz Benz, Mesa, Aguilar, GK, and others. So if you've always wanted to hear one of these amps in action, here's your chance.
There will be some great local Colorado bass talent performing, plus the amazing Doug Johns with groove master drummer Jordan Simms (these guys are not only amazing, but are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet...really!). You won't hear anything funkier than these two playing together.
Come on out and join us for a weekend of fun. http://rockymountainbassslam.com/
See you there!
