I had to pull over and deposit a explosive, volcanic payload in the woods about 5 miles past Lyons. |

I can't tell you how many times I've winched these panicked folks out of ditches over the years. | Big ol' SUV's and Trucks, and they no clue how to drive them period. Or even park them... News-flash guy! If you turn left (into my lane) before you turn right, you've failed!

So. Pretty dry out here isn't it? We could sure use some moisture. There is some joke about 75% of conversations between people in Denver starting out or ending that way. |

| It is.
They have the perfect blend of potatoes, eggs, ham, and bacon. A lot of places to me have to much of one or the other. Usually the potatoes, so it turns out real dry. The hot sauce that they use is actually spicy, but not ear cleaning. Oh, and it's only $3 for this good size burrito that does not overwhelm (Chipotle? ), and fills you up. The staff is never cranky or bitchy (we have gone in to sit down and talk for 30-40+ minutes), and always quick. Their English is good enough take orders, but that about it. Good sign of a true mexican fast food. |

But taters, eggs, cheese, and green chile sauce (DT's is better than fair, actually) wrapped up in a one-handed meal does the trick more often than not.

Or lousy as in they suck? Only a handful are any good. | It gets even more subjectiver (that's right, subjectiver), because what one would consider a "good" one depends on what part of the city you live in. I'm partial to Taco Express and I want to say Albertacos, but I haven't been there since I moved out of the city.
Then there are places (like the $1.98 Chinese places) that when your friends recommend them, you question their sanity while admiring their superhuman digestive systems.

I've only been here since 01. But I lived in Europe the entire time before that. Non-coloradans in Colorado scare me. |
