Gig this Friday (02/01) at the Triple Nickel in Colorado Springs. Free show. Doors at 8. Playing with Rhogog and a Denver band Ashen Embers. Should be a good time. And of course the Nickel has PBR on tap... so, yeah.

Yo, Joe... I'm in a new band! Punk rock sorta stuff. Probably be ready for shows in May so if you want to do something in Denver or have us down to the Springs, we'd probably be into it. The band I'm with used to be The Other Russia & were in pretty good w/ Soda Jerk and The Marquis/Summit so I'm looking forward to playing shows again for sure.

Hey all you rockers! My band is opening for Gypsyhawk (metalblade) and Mothership at the Triple Nickel one week from this Saturday. Save March 23. Show is just $5. We start at 9. This show is going to be really really good. Come out for the only Colorado tour stop.

I have a gig on the 23rd as well... my band Mass Hipsteria (www.masshipsteria.com) is playing in Boulder at the Dark Horse. 3/23 @ 9:30pm, no cover. 11-piece horn band playing funk/rock covers... Lots of Tower of Power (woot!), Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, Chicago, Kool & The Gang, etc.

Sweet! If you guys are ever in need of another band for a rock show, Whiskey Allan Poe will be looking to do some shows starting in mid-April. Still trying to put something together with those elfin fellows Cult of the Lost Cause.

I got an email just last week from a drummer I met a while back, and it sounds like the bassist for his blues trio might be leaving soon. If you're into blues-type stuff and play (acoustic or electric) upright, they might have a spot. It's a pretty decent little group, but I've already got two full time bands and can't fit another into my schedule. Send me a PM if you're interested and maybe I can hook you up.

My band sowhatbrothers.com will be at Greenfields on Sat. night, 3-16-13. Its on Hampden and Wadsworth in Lakewood. The band is a rock/pop coverband. It should be a good night.
