Final/Gear Roll Call for NYC GTG (9/24/06)

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey NYC-Metro-area-TBers:

Just wanted to get a final roll call of who definitely is going tomorrow, and what (if anything) will everyone be bringing in terms of gear.

I'm planning to bring my Nordstrand NJ6, only, but if we need amps, I can possibly bring my Yamaha BBT110 and Thunderfunk 550. I'd rather not if I don't have to, since I'll be on public transit the whole way, but I definitely can if it's needed.

Here is some more relevant info for your convenience:

TIME:
1pm - 8pm; Sunday, 24 September 2006

LOCATION:
The Woodhaven Athletic Club
86-08 95th Avenue
Ozone Park, NY 11416

MAP:
www.queenscouncilarts.org/map

1.) Locate Kennedy airport
2.) Locate Ozone Park, above and slightly to the left
3.) Click on Ozone Park; the hall is located within the triangle which is just to the left of the "O" of Ozone Park.

SUBWAY:
The 88th Street station on the A train is about 10 blocks (10 minute walk) from the hall. (lower right hand side of map) www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/maps/submap.htm

Looking forward to tomorrow!!

I might be there, if the Bugs Bunny cartoon marathon doesn't interfere!

I'll be bringing my:

1.) Ibanez BTB1205E
2.) Ibanez EDA905F
3.) Ibanez 1979 Musician

As you can see, I don't like Ibanez products.

I might bring my Jackbass.

I think there'll be more than enough amps there, Aram, so I'd say it's not necessary for you to lug your rig on the subway.

Besides, if we do need another amp, I can fetch my Ampeg B100R in 5 minutes.

Does anyone drink diet soda? I'm going to buy the soda later tonight, and just wanted to know if anyone prefers diet.

See y'all tomorrow.

Mike

I shall be there.

I'm gonna have my:

1. Ibanez Modded GSR Fretless
2. LPB Franken Precision
3. Big Muff Pi Reissue.

And just some extra info, if anyone is NOT taking the A train through Brooklyn, you can take the E/J/Z to Parson/Archer Jamaica Center and then take the Q24 bus which stops about a block away from the Club on Atlantic Avenue.

I'm so excited.

Good subway travel info, Tbird.

And in case anyone needs it, here's the NYC subway map again: www.mta.nyc.ny.us/nyct/maps/submap.htm*

Mike
* Ooopps! I didn't notice that you had posted the subway map above, Aram.
