Indoor parking lot? Is that the large foyer?

Is that Markbass LMII still marked $679 there? I've mentioned the wrong price to the sales people there several times and they just don't want to listen.

Damn, I'll be Monster Jammin (Monster Truck rally) with my Son & Nephew Saturday....drat.

I have been meaning to check out some gear in Natick too, the Millbury location doesn't have squat, and Natick often has better stuff than the Comm Ave location...

It'd be cool to have a GTG at a GC and take over the bass section....

Yes, it is the large foyer. They get stuff from all over the East Coast that is open box, no power cord or supply, missing knobs or manuals and they usually throw in a couple of killer deals. Last year they had $10 amps (only 3), but lots of other stuff for home studios, cheap.

I do not know about the price on the Markbass amp, but it seems as though they are stocking a lot more Markbass than they previosly did.

Have fun at the rally.

It would be cool to have a GTG and have every bass in the place off the wall being played, maybe we could all make sure we knew the same bassline and did one of those most bass players playing the same bass line at the same time.

All of you non-believers, though not as good as last year, how does $632 MM Bongo basses (that's right there were at least 10 in differant colors and pickguard configurations). Maybe $451 for a Warwick corvette or $623 for a Mobbius?

That's how it was differant from any other day.

I picked up a used Pedulla thunder bolt for $800. Sounds tasty. I'll post pics when i get them.

Did anyone pick up one of the Flea Basses (~1200) or the NT Thumb 5's (~1300). I couldn't believe the price on those

Very nice, glad you found it worth your time. I spoke with one of the sales people after the sale and he said that there were still some sweet deals and that was going to make Monday even better.

they had that used red streamer 4 string back up on the shelves for 1300. that used to be the only decent bass in the store then it was gone the last 3 or 4 times ive been there now its back. if they had that discounted on saturday i think i would have picked that up instead of the pedulla.

Sounds like the Daddy's Nashua warehouse sale. My main bass (a USA Peavey Millennium) somehow survived years hanging in some Daddy's, then the warehouse sale, then to the manager's special rack at the Dedham store.

I wish I had noticed this thread earlier - the Natick store was selling DR strings for $10-15 last Labor Day so you never know with them.

Every GC was. Apparently it was a major, major flub. It was below their cost, even.

Still worked out pretty good.
