Gonna be close to NYC, I GOTTA stop by Sadowsky Gtrs

I hope it's OK I posted in this forum . . .

Finally, I "get out of jail", and my gig takes me up to New England, with a day off too boot!

I think I'm close enough to finally get to go to NYC (never been), and, of course, the Meca for electric bass . . . Sadowsky Guitars!!!

I will be gigin with Mickey Gilley (remmember Urban Cowboy the movie?) @ Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncassville CT. on the 20 and 21st of august. I will also have a day off 8-22(normally our tours are usually booked so tight, that there's no room for playing tourist)

Please forgive my ignorance, but can someone please advise as to what tranportation options a guy could use to get from Uncassville to NYC (especially Brooklyn)??

I'm probably gonna try to hit all the touristy spots, Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, but first and formost Sadowsky Guitars!

Any help would be appreciated.

PS: oh, and Roger, if ya read this by any chance, I hope Tuesday or Wednsdays are NOT you day off

PSS: besides Sadowsky basses I also use Epifani spks, are they worth the stop on what will be a cramped day for me?

TIA,

Kevinlane

The casinos are in the middle of nowhere. Whenever I'm approaching one of them, all I can think of is the Emerald City, just appearing out of nowhere.

Traveling from there to NYC, I would think there are buses (those Elderly gambling runs) or car. I don't think the train runs by there but maybe one of the locals can give you more accurate info.
