GTG - Austin Texas - March 2010!!!!

We are in the process of planning a GTG in Austin Texas March 26th and 27th 2010....

We are planning on having Ed Friedland give a clinic and are beginning to plan some other "outings" to local food and music establishments......

Even if you are not local, plan on coming....especially if you live in a snowy climate!!!

Is it durring spring break, Imma bad with dates/lazy. If so I'll ask my dad if we can take a trip up there and be like oh I just found out there is a g2g here, he's a sucker for saying yes!

Nah, that's way after spring break and SXSW. But, being a weekend, maybe he'll bring you anyhow?

Yep, he's organizing it along with John (Gecko5) and a little (very little so far!) help from me. We'll all be there. Austin's a great town, I hope to see you all there.

Oh and it's after spring break so thats good. I have a trip to washington dc durring half of spring break. I've been wanting to go to the bass emporium forever and he enjoyed the houston gtg I went to. Plus he plays blues harmonica and he wants to check out austns's hermonica org and such.

I thought you lived in chi town? thats such a longs ways away

Been pressing the chick band to set a date for the reunion show, and it looks like late March. If not tho, I'll be at the gtg.

actually - bringing the fam.....my daughter wants to look at a college in Austin and I have a few friends in the area...

My sister is a ut grad and brother went there for a while.

Btw imma tryin to look at the cheapest hotels round austin to get my reservations and such. man! I finally get to go to bass emporium!
