Yo, the club I've hosted a few GTGs in is jonesin' for some serious low end. I want to pick a Sunday in July or August and do it again. Maybe this time I can arrange a little clinic and/or the long discussed jam that always seems to elude us. The Gorge is extra beautiful at this time of the year, so if a few of you decide to make a weekend of it, all the better.

As in the past, this will have to be 21-and-over, but the venue is really well suited to a GTG and the price is right too...

Let's hear it on dates from the usual suspects, and hopefully also some new prospects.

I'm already booked thru the last weekend of July with day-job business travel, but the first part of August is looking really sweet right now. I really, really, really want to make it to one of these GTG's, so if not this one I hope to make the next

I'll have a couple righty and lefty 4's & 5's ready to roll out of the shop in early Aug, but there's no way I'll have any of these ready for a July date due to the backlog at my finishing shop

all the best,

R

The best weekend for me might be August 23, but I don't have gigs on Sundays so it's mostly a matter of how my wife feels and if I can get off the leash. I can't predict that in advance though.

I'd like to run the Brunetti up there before then, though.

Another August

I would love to attend. Work/family-wise the end of August is best.

Sounds good to me

Sounds like fun. August would work out the best for me, and it's getting close to August.
I'd be traveling down from Snohomish WA.

Give me the date and I will most likely be there, G&L and Spector in tow.

Talent will be left at home

Any Dingwall owners that make it, I'll buy you beer.

Does GTG etiquette prohibit buying, selling and trading? Just wondering.

See you there!

any weekend but the 22/23 weekend

I will definitely do my best. I've really been wanting to make one of these ever since I chatted with 4mal.

Update: prolly looking at mid to late Sept. now. I am planning on taking August completely off from anything to do with bass. So how about a roll call on Sept. dates that would work for you guys?

That's far enough out that I can make this work any weekend.

Cool. I'll ping a couple of guys I'm hoping might be willing to do a little clinic at this one. None of 'em were available in August...

September's pretty wide open for me at this point.

I'd love to see the crew again in the gorge.

Kirk,

The venue (www.rivercitysaloon.com) has a larger than average stage and we can also set up on the whole dance floor if needed. I'm sure we've had literally a ton of gear in there on a few occasions. I've never even brought half my gear to any of these GTGs, I just stop loading when the van is full.
