Is it ok to mention gear for sale prior to the gtg? I have a couple more convenience items as well.
I'm not even going to be able to make it and it's not my house...but I see nothing wrong in offering up some deals as long as it's not the main focus of getting together. But that's just me. I'm certain that there have been talk like "if you ever want to sell this please put me on the contact list".

If I were going I would probably have a bass with me that I would be interested in selling.

I think it's up to the host but having attended several of these, I wouldn't want them to turn into a swap meet per se but always interested in a low key, "yeah, I'd let this go for a price..." or "This isn't working for me, maybe you'd be interested..."

Hey, I got a sweet deal on some TIJF's at a GTG once... I'm totally cool with a low key approach. Maybe I'd draw the line at the Randall both replete with Kirk and the skanks .. Unless maybe the Skanks can stay over ? My neighbor Kelly, You know like his wife is out of town and I'm sure he'd you know like someone to cook with...Uh, for ....
