So no fretless MB-2's? I had planned to leave it home this time anyway as it's old news these days anyway. This time it's the old basses that some guy named Leo had something to do with.

Jerry, could you bring the MB-2? I'd love to A/B it against a Mouse.

CAR? That's the one and yes I'll bring the MB-2.

I just remembered that I was going to get together with Tom to compare Rob Allen basses and I completely spaced out on that. I apologize Tom.

Absolutely

Right now I'm planning on bringing the 4-string Kompact, the Ken Lawrence (strung E-C now), and the '66 Guild Starfire. Along with the Acoustic Image Coda and Phil Jones Briefcase. Unless anyone wants me to bring something else.

I will have to try to make it to this. Work Sundays until somewhere 'tween 12:30 and 2:30 usually- I'll try to work a short one on the 27th!

Absolutely, as long as you're at least 21. We always seem to have at least a couple of Seattle area attendees out here at these GTGs.

+1. I'm looking forward to hanging out with everyone again. We've got a good group of "bottom dwellers" out here!

I'm pretty sure I've racked up enough gold stars from my wife to get to make this even though I just bought a Read Purity preamp.

Someone had asked if I would be bringing the Ric, but it has essentially been sold and it will be shipping out this week.

Absolutely no worries Jerry, but please do bring it to the GTG!

I was going to try to stop by and see Tom as well but I got sick as soon as my daughter went back to school.

I guess I should be glad it didn't happen until she went back to school though . . .

Bring out the Rob Allens, please!!! Granted, I need more GAS like I need another hole in my head, but I'll never know if I would really like one unless I actually try one. Failing that, they're just gorgeous basses that look cool and give me GAS anyway . . .

FWIW, I should have a Read Purity by the end of the week. I'm looking forward to trying it through my IP.

I wasn't going to do it but now I'm thinking that I might bring the Aguilar DB680/Crest CA9/Berg NV215. I haven't had a chance to open that rig up.

But then it might be the last time that Charley invites me to a GTG!

DeWd, I'm opening for a full-blown metal band at the River City on Oct. 10th. So I'm contemplating bringing my 2-1X15, 1X6, 1x1 rig, with a PLX 1804 and a PLX 1802, and at least a 6-space EFX rack. Plus my slide bass and a bow for the EUB. Bring it on!

Hmmmm. Don't think those will be the best rigs to test out those Rob Allen's.

Boo hoo.

I'll be bringing my fEarful 12/6 too, and I may get around to tweaking the DSP in my plate amp by then. We could also try setting up a laptop and hacking away on the speaker management system in my big rig. It does have volume controls, even. I think mega-feedback might be the perfect application for those mighty Mouses anyway though...

Sorry to hear you guys got sick. We just got flu vaccines (not Swine, they're not available yet). My GF teaches and everybody at her school is talking about Swine Flu, taking precautions, etc.

Cool, a Read Purity!

The Mouse will be at Hood River, God willing!
