The Bass Get Together allows players to meet other bass players in the area, check out basses and equipment, jam, talk shop. It is a great hang. Bring your bass(es) and equipment, or just show up.

Put together a video of the proceedings. About 13 minutes long, centered on the improv jam that several of the attendees threw together. Youtube is crunching it right now. Say 1500 minutes to upload and it may be longer depending on how well Youtube likes the format I shot in.

Will update with a link--assuming it loads properly.

Somewhat disappointed in the video quality. It was going to take over 25 hours to upload in the original quality, so I compressed it. Made the focus look pretty soft. I have the HQ version, but it is too large for Photobucket.

Music is good at any rate.

I wish I would have known about this i live 15 minutes away. Is anyone attending the Victor Wooten Concert at the Jazz Kitchen? Would love to meet some fellow bass players.

I'm sure if you go to a Wooten concert you'll meet plenty of bass players!
