John,

Coming in from NJ across the Verranzano, am I better off on the Belt east to the Southern State or going up to the Cross Island? The Belt kinda bites monkey nuts getting to the Cross Island during the week, but maybe it's easier during the weekend?

Whaddya think?

Sunday morning you should be a OK. take it either way. You'll be getting off exit 15N on the SS parkway. Make your 1st left onto Corona Ave. get in the right lane. 2 lights down is Franklin Ave, make a left and go up to Hempstead Tpke and make a left. go about a .25 mile down and you'll see it.

Mingya, I just realized we'll be near like hundreds of gallons of German beer on Sunday. Oh oh. My travel plans are totally flex, but likely will end up there early to help y'all. Might end up stayin' overnight in Garden City at a friends.

Yes, but pick a town!
it's either Floral Park
or
New Hyde Park
take which ever gets you there first, however, they are on seperate rail lines, so you have to pick one.

typically, you just walk across the platform and the other train is already there, like magic.

just ask the conductor though and he'll tell ya. it's easy. no worries.
