Janek Gwizdala clinic in Montreal on november 10th

Just wanted to inform everyone that Janek Gwizdala will do a clinic in Montreal on november 10th from 2 to 4pm. It will be held at l'UQAM, on the 3rd level of the department of music (room F-3080). Cost is 10$.

I have already told most Montreal talkbassers but I wanted to advertise it for the people that I may have forgotten or for those who may want to take a trip to our beautiful city for the clinic.

I will bump this thread a few days before the event. See you there!

Excellent! Let this be the end of craptacular Montreal clinics and the beginning of clinics that don't cause famous bassists to say "The way this clinic was set up made me decide to not come back and do another" (This was said this year by a famous bassist)

I will not likely be able to make it, but good luck. It would be nice to see some good bassists in Montreal and have it organized well and get a network going.

I would suggest putting posters up and getting word out around the Montreal music schools. Vanier, St-Laurent, McGill, Concordia, UQAM, etc... .

Yeah, Sylvain and I are in the process of doing this. We will show the Steves' and Ital' of this world how to do a clinic.
