Just talked with the bass exchange, they said best night would be a monday night since the restaurant next door is closed, so we could make some noise. The owner is going to call a friend who owns the new bass cabinet manufacturing company "Form Factor" who are located in anaheim. He thinks it would be cool if we went down to their facility and get together in their warehouse to try out eachothers gear, as well as the new form factor cabinets so we can review them.

Alright, Gary (the owner of the Bass exchange) just got back to me again. He's contacting different manufacturers to see if we can get them to provide some more gear as well. I told him by the end of december would be great, he said it would work out for him as well. Either before christmas or right after to avoid the holiday hustle and bustle, but we're looking at roughly ~3weeks from now. Hes looking into venues to house us, so lets get the word out. I think they may advertise the GTG as well so they can get some more customers in, don't know if that bothers you guys but with enough of us Im sure we will take care of our own. I'll keep you posted on what I hear from him.

Nice. I'd definitely be interested, schedule permitting.

Alright I went and spoke with Gary at the bass exchange in sherman oaks and they are down to host it for December 17th! I know its short notice, but does this date work for the majority of you? We would meet at 5 or 6 pm, and I will pm everyone in this thread about it. One thing he wanted you guys to do is check out their website and see what they stock. Since space is limited we don't need to bring doubles of things between ourselves, or stuff the shop already carries. so if you could post what you are bringing amp wise that would be great!

Im bringing a g&l sb-2
Ampeg V4b
Bergantino NV610
and possibly a Mesa Diesel 1x15
+my pedalboard.

Yeah I know. It works for them because the restaurant next door is closed on Mondays so we would have the entire parking lot to ourselves and be able to make a lot of noise.

They arent open sundays and dont want to be apparently. Not to mention the restaurant is open so we couldnt make that much noise. They have small amp room which is decently soundproofed (except the glass door obviously) which they use for their customers during the week, but with a couple big rigs set up outside that room we'd definitely be disturbing the other businesses.

Hmm.. Bass Exchange... tempting. My studio tends to work late on Mondays, but perhaps an exception can be made.. If so, bring the custom Carvin fretless with me.

Mondays are OK for me, but 5pm is kinda early (get off work at 5 in West L.A., then get to the valley...) How late are y'all planning on going?

He said we could show up around 5 or 6 and go for a couple hours. The store is generally only open till 7 I believe, but I would think we would go until around 9?

I'll definitely go to this one. I tried to get down to the S.D gtg but couldn't swing it due to some last minute changes to my schedule.
