Not to hijack your thread or anything, but I LOVE Harper's Ferry... Used to go down and play at the Old Time Christmas with brass groups from SHepherd (in my tuba playing "pre-bass" days...), then go get some barbecue at the little train car burger stand. Used to nike the C&O a lot too... Went to church in Inwood at First Baptist... and was out at Hedgesville quite a bit doing Band stuff back in the "Gary Marvel" days... he ain't teaching now is he?

I'd make the trip out from Frederick, depending on when and where.

I'm in Frederick. The WV panhandle is closer than the last GTG I went to, in Alexandria.
Subscribing.

What does everyone think of meeting at Applebee's in Charles town, this Saturday evening? I have no reason for picking that place other than it's right in the middle of our locations, so if you have a better place, please post it.

Also, if you know of a place where we could jam afterward, please post.

Have a good time though,

wow, there's another TB'r from milton?! (and he's got tons of cool gear!) I must befriend this fellow.

I'd love to make it up for a GTG, but probably until christmas my weekends are all tied up. We're playing in Wheeling the 23rd if any of you cats wanna swing by though...

I get off at six this Saturday. I live about 5 minutes from that Applebees but a.green.martian can verify my basement is a wreck at the moment.

Next time I will have my drummers kit setup as well as PA and a guitar amp. I live on well over an acre so getting a little loud won't bother the neighbors.

Rescheduled for January due to poor planning. Please subscribe to this thread if you're interested, and I'll fill in the details when they are worked out.

Subscribed. Baltimore is close enough and it would give me reason to take the car out on some fun roads.

Hasn't been any posts for awhile. Is there anything happening? I live on the Hardy/Hampshire Counties line about halfway between Romney and Moorefield.

I would still like to have a GTG, but I have been unusually busy this month. I'll try to get re-organised this weekend.
