Bringing basses might not be such an issue but amps, cabs yeah...pretty sure Marty and the boys at MCG won't be too hip to that. You may want to call Marty and get his feeling on it first, or just all show up and say your there to check out the SWR TRIAD that been there for 11 years with a blown Horn.....ooooohhhh did I just go there.....ouch. Nah, Marty and the boys are cool at MCG. Done some good business with them over the years. Wish I could make it but will be in Orland Florida that day..Have fun.

A 'store sponsored' GTG is quite a different thing than a true 'TB GTG'. I agree with the above that it wouldn't be appropriate to bring amplification into the store.

I'm a little 'GTG'd out' at this point, so will pass on this one. Have fun! It's always great to meet TBers in person!

I am still undecided. However Mike being there has me thinking I should show and bring my Jazz out. I'll try to sneak in a LMII

No matter what the store agrees with as a formal GTG, I'll be there. I'll bring my Eden 212 cuz I think everyone needs to hear this cab, including Marty. That boy gotta start stocking more Eden stuff.

My brother was just there a few weekends ago, cuz Marty finally got Engl amps in there. He's now the only Engl dealer in Michigan, which is one more than we used to have! He did the full-blown comparison between the Engl Powerball and Fireball, and compared them to my lead guitarist's H&K TriAmp MkII. Marty wanted to get the H&K stuff, but got a great agreement with Engl. Which we won't argue with, cuz those Engl's are monstrous amps!

And I gotta get a fistful of right-angle 1/4" plugs to mod a bunch of cables, so this is quite conveniently timed. \m/ My Tobias Killer B better still be on the wall when I get there!!!!

Can't make it out. I really wish I could because my rebuild jazz is just KILLIN! Maybe sometime we could have another GTG at Marshall Music or Elderly even. I know people in both stores.

I can't make it either. I have a rehearsal at noon, then the wife has things to do when I get back. I've learned at LDS that two small kids in a music store is no fun for anyone.
