So, is something still planned?

I was also at the MSMW show, and was a bit disappointed. Too much Scofield for me...how did you guys find it?

I thought it was great, but I dig Scofield! The sound man should be shot, however.

I saw MSMW and I really enjoyed it. If you were anywhere near the front on the right side (looking at the stage) you were probably annoyed with either me or my friends. If so, I'm sorry.

Anyone see Trio Beyond right before that? I went to both and it turned out to be waaaaaay too much Scofield for me.

Everyone should be checking out the Hyatt jam sessions. Amazing stuff. At the Hyatt hotel every night during the jazzfest. Starting at 11pm and ending around 3am. You need the "Carte Des Amis" to get in. It costs $12 but it is totally worth it. I'm planning on printing a bunch of counterfeit cards to get my friends in for free. Let me know if you want one.

I'll be there on saturday too for the SIMMM and Don Ross at 8 o'clock. I'll also be there on sunday for the Alain Caron Clinic.

Btw, anyone saw the Jaco Pastorius Big Band with Richard Bona? It was AMAZING...hard to put into word, one of the best shows i've ever seen.

How about we meet in front of la salle Wilfrid-Pelletier (in the Place-des-Arts, the main entrance with all the windowed doors) at 1?

Damn, I missed that. I really wanted to see it too. But I went to see Kurt Rosenwinkel at 10:00pm that same day, I and I didn't want to spend money on two concerts in the same day.
