I will be there, for sure. In fact, we should have a strong showing from Bass Gear Magazine.

Does anyone know what nights they are doing the Bass Bash? Last year, it was both Thursday and Friday, which was hella cool.

Tom.

I'll be there. Maybe this year I'll actually make it to the Bass Bash.

One of these years, I hope to earn an invitation. I've already got a place to stay. My Dad lives about 5 blocks from the Anaheim Convention Center.

I'll be there. I'll most likely be at the Bass Bash, too, at least on Thursday night.

I'm not going, but it'd be great if someone could stop by the
Kendrick amp booth (if there is one).

The latest newsletter I got says they're coming out with a
bass amp: The "BMF" (Bass Multi-valve Festival ) .

Six KT88's, a tri-filar handwound custom output transformer,
a 700-volt DC power supply, and 300 watts output power .

Well, in that case, it sounds like I'll be headed their way!

Also, we are going to have a forum set up on our webpage where we will dump photos each night, so those wishing to live vicariously through photos should have plenty to drool over!

If I remember to bring a camera Ill take oogles and oogles of gear piccies for everybody.

Oh, I didnt see the what is namm Q answered so here goes:

NAMM = North American Music Merchants

Its a gettogether of manufactures selling the newest and greatest to dealers, local and not so local.

The good, you get to see new stuff..Im going to check out pro tools 8 for sure! You get to meet some cool musicians and even actors sometimes. I keep running into Gary Grainger at namm, wich is totally killer!

The bad: Well, after you run through it, then you kinda go..okay...cool. Thats thursday. No they dont sell liqour, but they do have 3 dollar hotdogs. At least I dont think they sell liqour. You meet other unknown bassists who destroy your playing...namm police are abundandt(sp)

What really makes namm, are the deals to be made, and all the hangs that go on after its done for the day.

I wish namm was back in chicago, that would be pretty shnazzy.

Jaquo, Man is going to play with billy at namm. Ethan kinda hooked that up, should be interesting to see.

NAMM = National Association of Music Merchants; the organization is now called the International Music Business Association, but NAMM remains the name of the trade show.
